Still here!

So my parents are back! More like they haven't left... They've been hanging out at LAX since monday trying to get home (they are retired flight attendants traveling on their passes ie standby). Who knew that every flight to hawaii would be full in mid october?!

Anyhow after living out of their carry-on at the Best Western the past couple of nights, I went up to get them today and get them re-outfitted in the best that Nordstrom Rack could offer. After a dinner (with lots of wine) we're back in newport and heading back to LAX early tomorrow morn. Fingers crossed that a couple of travelers oversleep and miss their flight freeing up some seats for 2 weary semi-seniors trying to get home to their dogs.
