Omg the best doughnut ever

I died!


So if ever you find yourself on down town LA, you must go to the Nickel Diner! I totally want to. A friend of mine went and raved about the down home cooking and the desserts. They are known for their doughnuts and were aparently on the food network for it. And... I know why.

The above was doughy and delicious, glazed and covered in crispy bacon! (and came with special instructions not to microwave but to heat up in the oven). It was magical. Like pancakes with maple syrup and bacon..... Mmmmmm doughnuts!
